Claude for personal finance, and what Claude Money may add.

Anthropic's help center says custom connectors using remote MCP are available on Claude, Cowork, and Claude Desktop for Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans, with Free users limited to one custom connector. You add the connector on Claude web or Desktop; once connected, it is available the next time you sign in on Claude for iOS or Android. Installing connectors directly on mobile is in beta.

Without a connector, Claude can still analyze statements you export and paste in. That works for a one-time snapshot. It does not stay current, and nothing carries into the next conversation unless you paste it again.

TestingCatalog reported the tab on September 14, 2026 and BleepingComputer confirmed it on September 16. Both say the supported banks, the connection method, the actions it will support, and the launch plans are unknown, and that no Money tab has appeared on Claude's web interface. Treat anything more specific as speculation until Anthropic publishes it.

If it ships in the shape ChatGPT's Finances did, it will make one step easier: getting your transactions in front of Claude. It would still be a feature inside one assistant. If nothing needs you, the list is empty. Claude reads it when you open a conversation, or on a schedule if you set up a scheduled task in Claude, and starts with the question instead of a blank prompt. Candor is not a licensed advisor and gives no advice; your agent makes the suggestions, and you decide.

Everything Claude works out with you is saved in Candor with its reason: the budget you approved, the charge you decided to keep, the refund still to confirm. Totals, budget pace, and variance are computed from the records, so Claude reports a figure instead of predicting one. And because the workspace lives in Candor, not in Claude's memory, it is the same when you ask ChatGPT, Grok Bot, or Muse.
