Why we built Candor
Everyone deserves someone on their money.
Financial labor is a luxury good
If you have enough money, someone watches it for you. An advisor checks in, catches the waste, plans the big moves, and remembers everything you decided. That service usually costs 1% of what you have, every year, and it still amounts to a couple of meetings.
Everyone else does the job themselves. The duplicate charge you meant to dispute. The bill that crept up. The cash sitting at 0.01%. The benefits you earned and never claimed. Nobody chose this job, so it gets done late at night, badly, or not at all. And most of the companies in your financial life are fine with that, because your inattention is their revenue.
Nobody needs another agent
The AI answer to this has mostly been more assistants. Your bank has a chatbot. Every finance app is bolting on its own AI. Each one wants to be the thing you talk to.
We think that misses what is actually happening. You will not run forty agents. You will have one, the one you already trust, and it will know your calendar, your inbox, your plans, and your preferences. It answers to you, not to a product roadmap. An assistant that works for a bank will always, in the end, work for the bank.
So we did not build an agent. We built for yours.
The office your agent works in
A great financial operator needs more than intelligence. They need the records in order, the history of every decision, the math done right, and the methods of the trade. That is what an office is for, and it is what Candor is: the financial workspace your agent walks into.
Inside it, your accounts become organized financial records your agent can search. Budgets and goals stay saved until you change them instead of becoming suggestions it forgets. Every calculation uses the records behind it, because a language model guessing a plausible number is not how your money should be planned. Notes carry context from one conversation to the next. You can inspect what your agent did and why. And when you switch agents someday, the office stays. Your records, your budgets, your history, waiting for whoever you send in next.
It compounds
This is the part we find genuinely exciting. Candor gets better in two directions at once. Every new kind of financial information we add gives your agent new places to find money: account terms today, bills and subscriptions next, then card benefits, then the fees dragging your investments. And every time the leading AI models improve, your agent gets sharper judgment over the same workspace, without you doing anything.
Most subscriptions are the same product next year. This one is the worst it will ever be today.
What we promise
Candor is read-only. It cannot move your money, and no tool we ship will. Your agent recommends and acts under your authority; Candor keeps the facts straight and the record honest.
You are the customer. There are no ads, your data is never sold, and no models are trained on it. You can export everything and delete everything, and cancellation is not a maze.
And your agent stays yours. We will never ask you to talk to ours instead.
