What you need in Grok Bot
Grok Bot uses your Cursor account and comes with every paid individual Cursor plan, Cursor Teams, an individual SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, or SuperGrok Heavy subscription linked to Cursor, and The X Subscription's Premium, Super, and Ultra plans. Connectors install as plugins from Connect apps, sign in through your browser, and apply to your whole account; on a team, the Bot follows the team's Cursor connector policy. Candor is not in that marketplace yet, and xAI documents no form for adding another server, so a Bot needs assisted setup: start on Candor's Connections page, which offers setup help, or use Candor from another agent in the meantime. Skills live in one Private skills library shared by all your Bots.

What Grok Finance does in Grok and Grok Bot
US users can link accounts to Grok chat and ask about spending, savings, investments, and cash flow. Since September 26, 2026, Grok Bot has a Finance plugin that links bank, card, and investment accounts read-only, so the Bot can answer questions about balances, spending, subscriptions, and investments.
xAI says the Bot never sees your bank logins, and since October 11 it asks before sharing data a bank or brokerage connector returned anywhere else. The Finance plugin itself is read-only, though since October 11 the Bot can make payments through X Money or Stripe Link. Candor stays read-only either way: it answers with your records and the plan kept across months and agents.
What changed in Grok Bot
October 12, 2026: New customers now start on The X Subscription, with Grok Bot on its Premium, Super, and Ultra plans. Existing plans continue unless you choose to switch.
October 11, 2026: Grok Bot can now make payments through X Money or Stripe Link, and it asks before sharing data from a bank or brokerage connector anywhere else.
September 26, 2026: Grok Bot's Finance plugin launched for linking bank, card, and investment accounts.
What Candor adds to Grok Bot
The Finance plugin gives the Bot your accounts to work from. Candor keeps goals measured from those accounts, a budget that pays for them, and each decision with its reason, in a workspace every agent you use reads, and it reviews your records between conversations to raise what's worth talking through.
A Bot with a cloud computer and routines can keep working for a long time. Candor's list tells it where to look, and what you settle is saved so every Bot on your account, and your other agents, start from it.
Put the plan on a routine
Routines run on a schedule, or after an event where supported, and background routines keep running while your laptop is closed. A Bot can own up to 50 routines, scheduled at least five minutes apart.
Every Bot on your account shares one cloud computer and its workspace folder. A weekly routine that opens Candor and brings back only what is worth talking through is a good start; have the Bot confirm the schedule and what it will tell you about.

What to try with Grok Bot and Candor
Refund follow-up suits a Bot that keeps working. Record what the merchant promised, look for the posted credit in Candor, and bring back a follow-up draft only when the credit is missing. The refund case study shows one real investigation; its result is not a promise about your accounts.
What Candor can and cannot do
Candor is read-only toward your money. It has no tool to move money, pay a bill, trade, or cancel a service, it does not train AI models on your financial information, and it records every agent read and change with its reason. You can revoke an agent, export your data, or delete it from your account.
Candor provides records and calculations, not financial advice; your agent advises and acts only through its own tools, with your okay.

- Is this the same as an ordinary Grok chat?
- No. This page is for Grok Bot, which has a cloud computer, plugins, and routines. Grok chat has its own Finance connection and connectors.

- Either or both. Finance answers questions about your linked accounts inside Grok Bot. Candor keeps your goals, budget, and decisions for the Bot and for any other agent you use, with its own read-only connection.
