About Candor
Reach your money goals with the AI you already use.
Candor helps you reach your money goals with the AI agent you already use, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Grok Bot, or Meta Muse. Tell your agent what you want. It sets up the plan from your real accounts, with goals and a budget that pays for them, then keeps you on track. Every week Candor reviews all of it and tells your agent what's worth talking through and why. Every figure comes from your records, and Candor never moves money.

What Candor does
Candor is the workspace where your agent turns what you want into a plan and keeps you on it, built on read-only access to your bank, card, loan, and investment accounts. Your agent does the setup and the upkeep. It builds your goals and budget, keeps them current, and brings up what's worth talking through.
Turns what you want into a plan
Tell your agent what you're working toward, like paying off a card, buying a house, or working less. It splits the goal into steps, measures each one from your accounts, and builds a budget from your real spending that pays for it. Change any of it as you go.
Finds what's worth talking through
Every week Candor's review reads your records, notes, and plan and raises the few things an advisor would want looked into now, such as a goal falling behind, cash running short before rent, savings earning nothing, a promo rate ending, or a duplicate charge. Each comes with why it matters for your household, what isn't known yet, and the records behind it, and the review names the questions whose answers would change the picture. Your agent reads the figures from the records. When nothing matters, it raises nothing.
Keeps your accounts organized
Transactions are categorized and recurring charges are detected automatically, so your bills and subscriptions are already on the schedule. Your agent corrects anything that is off, and the fix sticks.
Tracks your goals and budget
Candor tracks progress and pace against your goals and budget with exact figures, so you and your agent can see whether you're on pace.
Remembers what you decided
Decisions, reasons, and follow-ups are saved in the workspace, so the next conversation, even in a different agent, picks up where the last one ended.
Shows it all on a dashboard
A web dashboard shows what's worth talking through, plus spending, recurring charges, budgets, goals, accounts, investments, and everything your agent did, with the reason it gave.
What makes Candor different
Most finance apps leave the setup and the upkeep to you. With Candor, the AI you already use sets up the plan in a conversation and keeps you on it, and what you decide is still there next time.
It works in the AI you already use
Candor works in Claude, ChatGPT, Grok Bot, Meta Muse, Codex, OpenClaw, and other agents that support MCP, and it is listed as Candor Finance in the ChatGPT plugin directory and Claude's connector directory.
Your agent keeps what you decided
Budgets, goals, corrections, and notes persist in the workspace with the reason behind each, so you do not re-explain your finances every conversation. Switch agents and the history comes with you.
It raises what matters and leaves the decision to you
Candor chooses what to bring up and shows why. Your agent works through it with you and recommends a course of action. You decide.
Figures are computed, not guessed
Totals, budget pace, cash runway, and recurring payment matches are calculated from your records, so your agent quotes a figure instead of estimating one.
It cannot move money
Candor is read-only. It has no tool to move money, pay a bill, trade, or change anything at your bank. Every read your agent makes is logged with its reason, and you can revoke access, export, or delete your data anytime.
Who uses Candor
Candor is for people who already use an AI agent, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Grok Bot, or Muse, and want to get somewhere with their money, like paying off the cards, buying a house, working less, or just knowing where it goes. It fits anyone with a few accounts, bills, and goals who wants the plan set up and kept for them, without an advisor's fee. It is not a budgeting app for manual tracking, and it does not replace licensed tax or investment advice.
- People who already ask Claude, ChatGPT, or another agent about money and want it working from their real records.
- People who want an advisor's attention on everyday money without an advisor's fee.
- People with several accounts, cards, and subscriptions who want bills and the budget kept current without a spreadsheet.
- Developers and agent builders who want a finance app their agent can use through MCP, a CLI, or an API.
How Candor works
You link your accounts, connect your agent with one setup message, and tell it what you want. It sets up the plan in Candor, then opens the workspace when you ask or on a schedule. Candor has already organized the records, and its weekly review has picked what's worth talking through, so every conversation starts with something useful.
- 1
Create a Candor account and link your accounts through a secure account-linking provider. Candor and your agent never see your bank login.
- 2
Copy one setup message into your agent and approve its access.
- 3
Candor organizes your records, and Candor's weekly review raises what's worth talking through. Your agent picks it up when you ask, or on a schedule if your agent supports scheduled tasks.
- 4
What your agent works out with you, such as a goal, a budget, or a charge you keep, is saved with its reason.
Agents reach Candor through a remote MCP server, or through the Candor CLI when they run on your computer. Access is authorized with OAuth, and you can revoke any agent from the dashboard.
