Connected to Candor, it works from your actual records: every account in one organized workspace, refreshed and queryable, with the freshness, coverage, and history behind every number. Candor is the financial workspace built for this. It holds the bank-grade connections, normalizes the records, and hands Hermes deterministic datasets, durable memory for budgets and goals, and finance skills that teach it how disciplined money work is actually done.

Start at candor.money. The web flow owns signup and the secure, read-only account connection, and it shows the price before you connect anything private. When your workspace is ready, it hands you one line to paste to Hermes.

From there, Hermes handles its own setup. It reads Candor's start materials, installs the candor-finance skill through Hermes's GitHub skill installer and adds Candor's remote MCP server with OAuth, and asks before it changes anything on its own host. The approval only you can give comes last: Hermes's access to your workspace, on Candor's OAuth page in your browser. Bank passwords, codes, and account numbers never pass through the chat.

Connected, Hermes runs real investigations instead of generic tips: the subscription that quietly went up, the trial about to convert, the refund that never landed, the cash earning almost nothing while debt costs more. Each finding comes with the transactions that prove it, so you check the work instead of trusting it.
