Using CandorReviewing this month's recurring charges against last year

Heads up: Comcast is $74.99 this month. It was $60.99 for most of last year, so that's $14 more a month, $168 a year.Their retention line has been offering the old rate. Want me to draft the call?
yes, draft it

Using CandorNoting the increase and the $168 a year at stake

Drafted, it's in your notes. I'll check next month's bill to confirm it came back down.

Real finds from real connected accounts.

What it does while you're not looking.

Your agent keeps the whole workspace current. You open the dashboard when you feel like it, and the work is already done.

Every transaction, sorted.

New charges get categorized as they post. Say once that your cloud bills are work expenses and your agent writes the rule, then fixes the history.

$400 a month keeps the date5 months left
Still on pace. The September contribution posted on the 1st, so nothing to change.

A heads-up before a line runs hot.

It watches the pace of each budget line, not just the month's total, so you hear about it on day 12 instead of day 30.

Groceries$271.60 of $700.00
Dining$248.40 of $310.00

Day 12 of 30. The tick is where the plan expects each line to be.

Dining is at 80% of the plan on day 12. At this pace it lands about $311 over. Hold, or move $150 from cushion?

It remembers, so you never repeat yourself.

Every rule, correction, and approved plan lives in Candor. A new chat, or a new agent, picks up where the last one left off.

What your agent has on record

  • Aug 2Cloud bills are work expenses.
  • Aug 9Keep the gym through March, then review it.
  • Sep 1September budget approved, groceries at $700.
  • Sep 4Japan in February: $4,800, $400 a month.
New chat, same memory. I picked up the September plan and the Japan goal from Candor before you asked.

All of it shows up in one place: accounts, spending, budget, goals, net worth, and a feed of every action your agent took with the reason it gave. Kept current by your agent, not by you.

It pays for itself in the first month.

One catch covers the year. And a lot of what matters never shows up as a line item.

Everything else leaves the work to you.

Budgeting apps show you where the money went. You still do all the work.

AI money apps hand your money to someone else's bot. It works for them, not for you.

Advisors charge 1% of everything for two meetings a year. On $200,000, that's $2,000 a year.

With Candor, the work gets done.

The budget is built. The month is sorted. The goals are tracked. The leaks are caught. Your agent brings you the two decisions that need you and nothing else, and it never forgets: your records, budgets, and choices live in Candor, so a brand-new agent picks up right where the last one left off.

No homework. No second agent to manage. Your agent just gets great with money.

What is Candor?

Candor is the financial workspace that lets the AI agent you already use handle your money. It connects your accounts, keeps your records, budgets, goals, and decisions organized, and teaches your agent the methods of a good financial operator. You keep talking to your agent. Candor is what makes it good with money.

What does handled actually mean?

Your agent does the work through Candor: it builds and keeps the budget, sorts every transaction, tracks your goals, watches recurring charges for creep and duplicates, and follows through on what you approve. It remembers every decision and brings you only the calls that need you.

How much does Candor cost?

Candor has one Personal plan starting at $8.25 per month on the annual plan ($99/year). Also available: $14.99/month. The free trial lasts 7 days; billing starts after the trial. All billing options and the exact charge are shown before Checkout. Cancel anytime by opening Candor’s Manage billing link and completing cancellation in Stripe’s billing portal. Candor has no ads and does not sell your data. You’re the customer, not the product.

Which agents work with Candor?

Any capable agent, hosted or self-hosted: Claude, OpenClaw, Hermes, ChatGPT, and others. If it can read a link or run a terminal, it can work in Candor.

My agent already has finance features. Why Candor?

Built-in finance features give your agent a snapshot it forgets. Candor is permanent: clean records across all your accounts, budgets and goals it actually sticks to, math you can check against the real transactions, and a memory of every decision that survives new sessions and even a new agent.

When does my agent actually check?

Whenever you talk to it, and on whatever schedule you give it. Candor shows your agent how to set up its own recurring check-in, and gives it a quick anything-need-attention read to run each time. Nothing happens that you didn't set up.

Do I get a dashboard, or is it all chat?

Both. Your agent works through Candor's CLI and MCP tools, and you get a live dashboard: accounts, spending, budget, goals, net worth, and an activity feed of every action your agent took with the reason it gave. Your agent keeps it current. You never maintain it.

Can Candor move money or change my accounts?

No. Candor is read-only for external financial actions. It doesn't move money, pay bills, trade, open accounts, cancel subscriptions, or change anything at your bank. Your agent can act on what Candor finds, using its own tools, with your permission.

Do you store my bank password?

No. You connect through a secure account-linking provider. Candor and your agent never see or store your bank login.

Do you train models on my financial data?

No. Candor doesn't sell your data, run ads, or train models on it. Your data does one job: keeping your agent's picture of your money current.
